SALEM MIDDLE SCHOOL CHOIR ENROLLMENT
Any and all Salem Middle School students are invited to get involved with Choir. The class is a regularly scheduled class for credit. No previous experience is required, just a good attitude and a willingness to learn about different musical forms and traditions in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
- Quality vocal training and performance curriculum
- Performance schedules built around school and athletic activities
- Only 1-2 required events per semester
- Extra-curricular opportunities for developing musicians
- FREE PROGRAM – no charges, purchase, or fees – materials and wardrobe provided
The Salem Choirs Student Guide 2017-18 has been distributed on the first day of school, and includes information and schedules all students and parents need to know.
CHROMEBOOKS are now available to all students grades 6-8. Pertinent information for students and parents will be posted here from time to time as we start incorporating these into instruction.
SALEM CHOIR PARENTS ORGANIZATION
Organized in the spring of 2014, the Salem Choir Parents Association provides logistical and financial support to our Choirs grades 6-12, and advocates for music in our schools.
The group is task-focused, not meeting-focused,and all parents/guardians of Choir students grades 6-12 are welcome. Quarterly meetings are as follows:
